BOTH the tansy and salvia are coming to an end of their flowering. They look made for each other both in the garden and as cut flowers in the house. It's amazing, isn't it, how nature knows?

So, last day of January for 2012 - how did it roll around so quickly? Wasn't Christmas just last week?

READ: The Tent (2011), by Margaret Atwood.
LISTENED TO: Beth Orton’s Central Reservation album release.
SAW: Beth Orton live at the Sydney Festival, Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro nearer to home, the new Sherlock Holmes movie and Annie at the Lyric Theatre.
BEEN: Back to work.
EATEN: Prawn and zucchini fettuccine dish at Stuzzi Bar, on level 6 of Sydney’s Westfield complex and crispy-skinned chicken and noodle soup at Pho Pasteur, George St, Sydney. The former, both my dining companion and I have sought to create at home - 'twas that good.
