IT’S been one hell of a month and I’m only half way through. I’m on the downhill run now and come Sunday morning will be heading off on a leisurely bushwalk with my partner and my eldest stepdaughter for a spot of twitching. Actually, the only thing twitching will be my eye. I love bushwalking but am not much for bird spotting. My partner is a bit of a nerd about birds and rattles off names and mating habits and that kinda stuff. My stepdaughter just likes photographing and drawing them. Me? I’ll be happy to take a walk in the spring sunshine. It will be a fitting way to end two busy weeks, which was, I must admit, not without its fun. I did, this weekend, proof three etchings. I worked on the banksia theme from this sketch. It hasn’t been all work and no play.
