FIMO FLANNEL FLOWERS JUST FOR FUN
February 20, 2012REMEMBER Fimo? Remember the kitsch Aussie wildflower and gumnut necklaces made from the stuff? They were an '80s and '90s thing and I'll bet there are still a handful of you who have one tucked away. Get it out again. They're fun. I scored this flannel flower necklace for $4 at an op shop a couple of weekends ago and the great thing about it is the long neck cord. I've been wearing it long, with a purple singlet top and floral skirt. It is fun. Like wearing the supermarket toy aisle beads when you were little. That kind of fun.
I haven't added much to my Pinterest boards this past month but what I have added have been about flashbacks and fun.
THINGS TO MAKE AND DO: Leslie’s dreamcatcher, as seen on A Creative Mint.
THINGS TO COOK AND EAT: Carolina’s breakfasts, as seen on Gatsby & Me. Pity they’re not closer to home. Good thing because I might walk off with the plate.
THINGS TO DROP DOUGH ON: They look easy to wear, cute and quirky. How great is EleyKishimoto’s latest collection?
