Day trippin' and then some
SNOWED IN
November 24, 2008I DRAGGED a friend of mine to the Blue Mountains so we could check out the Clarendon guesthouse for a travel piece. Every time we plan a trip away it turns into a bit of an adventure. This time it snowed. Days away from summer and it was snowing.
The highlight of the trip was seeing The Fagans. I love seeing live music, especially when you can hear the lyrics and they tell a story of people’s lives, and in this case, times past. And, boy, can they sing. I am so envious of people who can sing. I can’t hold a tune. I’ll happily belt out one but people around me would prefer I didn’t.
