Dressing up
Op shop gold
AND THE WINNER IS ...
May 11, 2009ONE week's holiday from work is not enough. Leave forms came home with me this evening and I've only been back a day.
I'm not quite back into the swing of things yet. I'm still unpacking from my little road trip - both gear and my thoughts - and have lots to share.
In the meantime, here's a few more pics from the workplace eco-challenge I took up before I left. I'm not sure about the funny poses the photographer had me in. The first one looks like I've got some sort of pointy Doris Day bra thing goin' on. I took the shoulder pads (from the shoulders - not the chest region, in case you leaped there in your mind) out of this dress. I then sewed them back in the morning of wearing it out in public for the first time. I still can't decide. The drape is better with them in, but the look is "softer" with them out. I love the shirt in the second pic. The detail - little zips and press studs - are lost in this photo. The third pic is of a Veronika Maine blouse I bought for $5 and a vintage Cue skirt, with on-trend tiered hem, for $8.
