THIS week’s hunting turned up a sheer printed shirt. It needs work. There’s a tear low at the back – probably where it got caught on a seat. To hem, or not to hem? That is the question. Any ideas? I can’t imagine trying to patch it. Despite the tear being about 10cm long, you have to look for it, so do I cut it away, or just tuck the shirt in and hope no one looks too closely?
