I DON'T often show my face on my blog but here ya go.

I took photos of all the girls in my Girl Guide unit last week and manipulated the image to a black and white relief that will be laminated and cut as a stencil for a graffiti art project we're doing this term. The project started as a DIY program to repair and repaint a number of large noticeboards in our hall.

We sanded back frames and laid an undercoat and base coat on the boards over a couple of nights, and tonight, two artists will come in and help the girls pinpoint what parts of their relief portrait should be kept and what should be cut away. I have the Band-Aids at the ready.
