I REALLY did get the coloured pencils out on the weekend and drew a few more of my more recent op shop finds. These are new to me skirts. The denim number was found at Paddington Vinnies, in Brisbane. I think I paid a measly $4 for it and it is, at the moment, my favourite skirt. The grey bubble skirt is a David Lawrence skirt that cost me $10 from a Red Cross store. It’s beautiful to wear but a bugger to iron. The striped skirt, in soft pastels, has a Country Road label and is made from silk. The hem has been left raw and kind of wafts around my knees. It was $10 from a Salvos store. I liked the graphic pattern on the last skirt, also Country Road label and from about the early 1990s, I think. I paid about the Salvos about $6 for it.
