I HAVE neglected to share what I bought from Peppergreen Trading Co. The Complete Book of Sewing by Constance Talbot. The hand-written inscription reads: “To Edith, with best wishes from Jean, Christmas 1948”. Aren’t the graphics adorable? Oh those hats, those dickies, the look on the face of that woman trying to alter her dress. I know how you feel, hon. Honest I do.
