THE last time I posted a 'pinning' post I was hurrying winter away and wishing for the speedy arrival of spring. Now it's here I just want things to slow down a little so I can enjoy and celebrate it.

THINGS TO MAKE AND DO: A length of string and a copper ring. I have an idea for these mini macrames.
THINGS TO COOK AND EAT: A herb and honey infused gin cocktail. How perfect for spring.

THINGS TO DROP DOUGH ON: A pair of Aleida Pullar's silver hand-cut and etched earrings were my all-time favourites, but I lost one of the pair and she never made any more. The Central Coast artist is making earrings again, but this time to echo her beautiful indigo-coloured ceramic ware.
THINGS TO HANG ON THE WALL: Margaret Preston's woodblock print, Bossiaea, because they're flowering in bushland up and down the east coast of Australia right now, and they're magnificent.

#flashback: This time last year I was already making plans for Christmas. I probably should again now.
