SIX days of camping with 100-plus girls in tents and a similar number, younger girls, in a camp cottage can make you forget all about your creature comforts and mod-cons. Even mobile phones were out. Coverage was poor and you can't plug them into a tree to recharge. I haven't laughed so hard for such a long time, or shouted so loud. With that many teenage girls there's a lot of laughter and a lot of shouting.

How was your week? I'm catching up on what you've been up to but, to be honest, I'm just passing through. I've enjoyed my little blog holiday and might take a few more days out to catch up in the garden and potter about the op-shops. Ta ta for now.
