THERE are no words. The darling Nanette, of Rummage, commented on my rambling thoughts earlier this month and offered to send me a care package. The package was waiting for me at home on Christmas Eve and after a frantic day at work and ahead of preparing the house for my parents’ arrival it was a salve like no other. Kind words penned on a Christmas card of old, a cloth for the Christmas table and a fruit bowl that on Christmas day held both bon bons and mangoes. And that’s not all, a gorgeous dress I have yet to don and photograph for you.

Nanette, your care package, along with the kind words from so many of you, has humbled me and kindled in me the Christmas spirit I lacked this year. That you could take a moment at a busy time of year to show kindness to someone you barely know has been a source of wonder and delight. Thank you.

Thank you all. I am still thinking. I will share my thoughts with you in coming posts. Some will be penned only in my diary - hand scribed for me to ponder now and, no doubt, in years to come. Some I will share here and I have faith you will allow me to ramble and ponder and move, bit by bit, to fresh thoughts and ideas and inspiration.
