I'VE been baking. Dessert Saturday night was a rhubarb and berry crumble and on Sunday it was Stephanie Alexander's New England pumpkin pie, made from pumpkin I grew out the back. Both were good. Too good. They're the reason I carry my running shoes on the long commute to work and pound the pavements during my lunch breaks.

  2. Two chocolate muffins (because I have the flu and it made me feel better) for afternoon tea are the reason my lunch today was chicken soup

    Oh and I adore pumpkin soup, I used butternut squash and add rice so that it's a one pot meal for me :)
