HOW can it be that there are only 10 days until Christmas? The bush advent calendar, made by Little Eco Footprints, is my favourite of all the advent calendars I've seen online this season. Super simple Aussie decor. What's not to love?

Even though it's the silly season and my patience for all things Christmas is waning I think we're on top of it. I even managed to squeeze a bunch of non-Christmas things in this past week,

I ordered the Paper Doll Primer and The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks on Thursday and it arrived Monday. Yay.

The Penny Black Project exhibition at Myrtle St Studio closed on Saturday but there is a rumour there will be a second round of the project announced soon.

I did the Portuguese walking tour of Petersham on Sunday. If you're a Sydney-sider, or visiting, take a look at what's on offer for 2011. It's amazing what you can find so close to home.

Hope you're hanging in there. 10 days and counting.

  2. most mornings i have to go wake her up, i have the best bub in the world.
as for rugs, i love the idea of sewing rag rugs together, but also very handy by themselves as you say, easy to wash. but if you are after one big rug it's all about how much money you have.

    breaky time now.

Those food tours of Sydney look unreal. I'm thinking I have to do the Vietnamese one.
