CAN you believe Christmas is this week? Holidaying families have already arrived in my neck of the woods. At the beach on Saturday there were lots of new faces, young children delighting in the surf and sand, frolicking about in new togs, floppy hats askew and sun cream not quite rubbed into pale skin.

I hope you and yours have made it to your holiday destinations safely and before you dive into festivities, I want to raise my glass to you and say thanks. You’ve made this year at katiecrackernuts a joy. You’ve been a virtual cheer squad and dose of daily inspiration.

I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve made you all a little something for next year. It’s a tiny calendar of my op shop illustrations that you can, as I love to do, print out and make yourself. Print it out back to back and bind together as you wish, or print it single-sided and display all the months, tacked to the wall or pinboard.

Post a comment (with link to an email address, or the address) and I'll whip you over a .pdf. I haven't quite worked out how to load the file here. If you know, clue me in.

  36. Can I still get one?? Always wished I could draw, doodle, anything more than stick figures. Reminds me of a fabulous book called " 100 dresses" about a very poor girl who wears the same dress to school everyday and gets teased because she keep telling the girls she has 100 dresses. It was written in the 50's.
