THE parsley has been pulled and the seed shaken back into the ground. I pulled the last of the carrots, turned the bed and mulched it. Zucchini and an eggplant are growing madly there now and it's rained, heavily, three times since I mulched on Sunday. Rocket seed shaken into another bed a fortnight ago is up and needs to be thinned. The tomatoes that came up after I spread a layer of compost have fruit on them - large red, red cherry and pear-shaped yellow cherry toms. Oh, and the dyers chamomile is flowering.

What's happening in your patch?
