DO YOU have any wild ideas for how spent Gocco bulbs could be used? The spent bulbs (two for each screen shot) are pretty and I always feel so guilty throwing them in the bin. I was thinking they’d be okay as Christmas tree baubles. Do you have any other clever clog thoughts?

  1. I agree - it would be good to make something from them instead of throwing out. Why not try wire them all together and make an interesting sculpture! Maybe cover them in some vintage fabrics!!
Make sure you post pics on what you end up doing. I'd love to see them.

  2. depending on how many you end up with, along the lines of the xmas baubles perhaps wire them into a xmas wreath?

  3. How about a bunch of them and then somehow (afraid there's no step by step logic to this faint notion) light them in the middle so that all the refracted light, you know, sort of does stuff?

Just crawling back into my box now.

  5. Definitely too good not to be reused.
Some sort of sculpture was my first thought. Wired on denuded branches and put in a vase.
Or formed into a bunch of grapes (they so remind me of white grapes)
How about wiring them to an old lampshade frame to give a new look to an old lamp. Like Tania, I think having light shine through them would look good.
