ONE week's holiday from work is not enough. Leave forms came home with me this evening and I've only been back a day.

I'm not quite back into the swing of things yet. I'm still unpacking from my little road trip - both gear and my thoughts - and have lots to share.

In the meantime, here's a few more pics from the workplace eco-challenge I took up before I left. I'm not sure about the funny poses the photographer had me in. The first one looks like I've got some sort of pointy Doris Day bra thing goin' on. I took the shoulder pads (from the shoulders - not the chest region, in case you leaped there in your mind) out of this dress. I then sewed them back in the morning of wearing it out in public for the first time. I still can't decide. The drape is better with them in, but the look is "softer" with them out. I love the shirt in the second pic. The detail - little zips and press studs - are lost in this photo. The third pic is of a Veronika Maine blouse I bought for $5 and a vintage Cue skirt, with on-trend tiered hem, for $8.

  1. So cool. I like the shoulder pads, I think they look good. Maybe you could velcro them so you can change it as you wish!

Love that VM blouse - that is a winner.

When do you find out? HOPE YOU WIN!

  4. These are awesome Kate. Look at you! You are a million times better model than any of those sour pusses you see on the cat walks in my opinion! I'm totally with you on the one weeks holiday thing - you are just getting into it and bam! You're back at work.
