A LATE post today. I've just been for a run to clear my head. The first day of December has triggered a flurry of festive postings and I'm not ready for the onslaught, thus my choice to mark the first day of summer. I am looking forward to that. Summer fruits, light summer dinners, barbecues, a light ale or two and the beach. This week I'll order bouquets of summer blooms to dress the houses of my family - an early Christmas surprise. We'll put up the tree and dress it and this weekend we'll cook shortbread, gingerbread, a batch of banana chutney and I'll print my Christmas cards. I'll find my Christmas mo jo soon, I hope.
